Anchor Store

An Anchor Store is one of big department store in the mall. As name suggest, anchor store plays an important role to attract and increase in foot fall of customers in mall. Retailers like JC Penney, Sears and Shoppers Stop, Big Bazaar, Pantaloons in India are well known in retail industry for their anchor stores. An anchor stores helps mall and other retailers to increase their business in market through attract and increasing the customers volume in malls. There are also changes in number of anchor stores in a mall depend upon size of mall. In a multi- floor malls, anchor stores extend their area in two or more floors with the elevators and escalators. Sometimes, they also use basement for their warehouse or stock room.

Planogram

Planogram refers to the visual diagram which give information about the placement of every product in a retail store. A detailed plan of retail store. Planogram reflects about the wall, floor fixtures and layout of floor of retail store. Planogram is designed in such a way which give ideas about alignment of floor fixtures, wall and visual merchandising which give the most profit to a retail organization through sale of it's merchandise or articles.

Mystery Shopping

Mystery Shopping is a process in which a person visits retail store in order to measuring or judging the quality of customer service. Mystery shopping is done by a person who hired from a retail company to measuring the quality of it's customer service within store. The person who visits the store to check or measure the customer service is known as Mystery Shopper. After, the visit of mystery shopper he/she make a report on the basis of standard provided by retail company in order to measure their quality of customer service

Retail Advertising

Retail Advertising refers to the advertising of retail business. Retail Advertising is a means of communication between retailer and users/customers of a product or service. Retail Advertising is a method to communicate message from retailer to their customers about it's products or service. These messages are communicated by different methods of advertisement such as television, print ( newspaper, magazines, journals etc), radio, social media, direct selling, visuals and other.

Strength of filament Fibre is stronger than staple fiber. Fabric made from filament fibres rarely catches pilling on it's surface than staple fabric.

Staple Fibre

Staple Fibre is refers to those fibres which are shorten in length. Staple Fibre must undergo through process of spinning before making of a yarn of continuous length. Yarn made of staple Fibre have hairiness appearance on it's surface. Strength of staple Fibre is lower than other yarn. Fabric made from staple fibres catches pilling on it's surface.
